@Rebellion, Manchester – 8 p.m. until 4 a.m.
Next year, we will celebrate thirty years of repetitive beats madness by hosting Havok’s 30th Birthday Bash. As this will also be the final Havok event ever, we are going out in style. Not only will we have extended opening hours and a line-up of classic Havok residents for the second room, but we also have an amazing final three hours planned with our very special guests—Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E The Drummer.
Over our thirty years of Absolute Havok, Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E The Drummer have undoubtedly been our most popular and most requested guests, helping us host many incredible parties over the years—so, it was a no-brainer that they should help us close out our last Havok event in style. But, as a special treat—and quite a rare occurrence—the two of them will play an hour each and then the final hour back-to-back across four decks as their joint alter ego—Dynamo City.
This will be the Havok to end all Havok’s—literally !!! So, put your dancing pants on one last time, folks…
…Crazy is on its way !!!
Chris Liberator

Chris Liberator is a pioneering British DJ and producer known for igniting the global acid techno scene. A founding member of the Liberator DJs and the Stay Up Forever Collective, he emerged from London’s squat party underground in the early ’90s. With a punk-rooted ethos and relentless energy, Chris has toured worldwide, released hundreds of tracks, and collaborated with icons like D.A.V.E. The Drummer and Guy Geezer. His sound—raw, anarchic, and euphoric—continues to shake dance floors from Tokyo to São Paulo, making him one of techno’s most enduring and uncompromising figures.
D.A.V.E The Drummer
D.A.V.E. The Drummer (aka Henry Cullen) is a legendary UK techno producer and DJ, similarly born from London’s 1990s rave scene. Founder of Hydraulix Records, he helped shape the acid techno underground with raw, driving beats and a punk-infused ethos. A core member of the Stay Up Forever Collective, he’s released hundreds of tracks across labels like Havok, Apex and Mutate To Survive. D.A.V.E. The Drummer continues to push techno’s boundaries with stripped-back, hard-edged soundscapes that ignite dance floors and defy convention

Dynamo City
Dynamo City is the cult acid techno alter ego of Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E. The Drummer, known for blending raw rave energy with politically charged samples and pounding beats. Emerging on the Stay Up Forever imprint in the 1990s, they became iconic for tracks like “Urban and Free” and the notorious “One Night in Hackney,” which captured the anarchic spirit of the era. Their sound—gritty, rebellious, and euphoric—defined the Stay Up Forever sound and continues to influence techno producers worldwide. Dynamo City remains a symbol of DIY ethos, sonic defiance, and the enduring power of warehouse culture.
