The Tale of Havok 12
Mark had been introduced to us by the Liberator crew and had been up to play at Havok a couple of times, when he got in touch to offer us these two, when we realised Guy Geezer had a hand in them as well, then we couldn’t really say no, could we? I can’t really remember much more about this one, I’m afraid, such as song titles meanings or samples
Run Out Groove Etchings
This Side – Maximum Duvet Warmth

I’m afraid I won’t be very helpful on this one, as it was chosen by Mark and I cannot really remember what it refers to…I think it may be connected to the title of the track hoodie politics? Maybe Mark liked a nice warm hoodie?
That Side – Manchester Let ‘Ave Yer

This refers to ‘London Pride’ tunes doing the rounds at the time, such as ‘London, Acid City’ and Mark’s ‘London, Let’s Ave Yer’…a theme I picked up on again, with Havok 20’s ‘Pretty Shitty City’ and its vocal loop of ‘London, I shit ’em’…bet that didn’t get much play darn Sarf.
