The Tale of Havok 9
By this point in Havok’s history, Medicine Man and I had released our first two vinyls and were developing the styles we enjoyed and played. I had always loved the Chemical Brothers and anything with a heavy breakbeat, while Medicine Man was exploring his passion for harder trance and techno. So, we decided to each produce a full EP for Havok 9 and 10. Hair On A G-String is probably one of my favourite tracks from pHarmacy, as I just love its mind-bending breakdown in the middle—awesome stuff.
Medicine Man often incorporates wordplay in his track titles (see Roam Man = Roman, Spar Tan = Spartan, for example). The Roman theme comes from the feel of the main track on the A-side and the first track on the flip. Roam Man is a big roaming epic chunk of trance inspired techno, while Spar Tan is more sparse and stripped down on a purer techno-vibe.
Run Out Groove Etchings
This Side – Pubic Hair Is Organic Dental Floss

This is fairly self-explanatory and refers to the name of the second track on this side (Hair On A G-string). The actually etching on the vinyl misses out the word ‘Hair’…a mistake in the cutting room…I don’t know, you just can’t get the staff these days !!!
That Side – Get Your Drugs From The Pharmacy

This erm, obviously can only mean one thing, and it is just general helpful advice in case anyone has a headache, hay fever or a cough….I don’t think it meant anything else !!!
