Howdy Folks…
Some of you who have read Gigging are already asking when the sequel is out, so here is a quick update on where the books are up to…
Out now and available pretty much everywhere as an eBook or paperback (Amazon, Google Books, Kobo, Apple Books). Copies of the limited edition hardcover are running out, we now only have about sixty left. If you have previously reserved one then your copy is safe … if you haven’t, I’d get in there quickly …
This is currently with my editor for the first developmental pass. I will then need to make any changes and re-writes and it will go back to Lesley for the final edits. Hopefully this will all be done by mid-June and then it is off to the publishers. All being well this will be out just before Christmas.
The first draft of the manuscript is now finished. Lil has just read through it – there were tears throughout (both happy and sad) … so erm, job done !!! I now need to read through it again, start to finish, and make a few more edits. It will then go to my brave beta-readers, who will then make suggestions and comments, then it will hopefully be off to my editor by mid November this year … looking for a release date of around this time next year.
Fluid
So, now Oscar and Leon’s tale is told, I am heading in a new direction. Set in Manchester 2037, I am already 10,000 words in, the main characters and the world is developing nicely, but Fluid is certainly shaping up much darker than the Gigging trilogy. I’m still trying to keep some humour in there, but the future’s looking pretty bleak to be honest…
